Amaretto Peach Pie Recipe

Amaretto peach pie is a dessert that combines the flavors of amaretto, peaches, and pie. The amaretto adds a hint of almond to the sweet peaches, and the pie crust rounds out the flavors.

 6 c sliced peaches
 ½ ts arrowroot
 1 ea whole wheat double pie crust
  c Amaretto
  c honey
 3 tb flour
 ¼ c butter
 3 tb lemon juice
 ¼ c maple syrup
 ½ ts nutmeg

Place peaches in bottom of 9-inch pie crust.

In saucepan, heattogether honey, butter, and maple syrup until just melted.

Stir inarrowroot; mixture will thicken.

Add Amaretto, flour, lemon juice andnutmeg.

Pour liquid over peaches.

Cover with top pie crust.

Sealedges and cut small holes in top crust.

Bake at 350 degrees for 60minutes or until pie is golden brown and bubbling at holes.
