Appetizer Franks Recipe

This recipe for sweet and sour cocktail wieners is incredibly old, and I remember enjoying it as a child at my mother's holiday gatherings. Use toothpicks to eat, and a fondue pot to keep it warm.

INGREDIENTS

 1 pkg. Oscar Meyer franks
 1 pkg. maple flavored bacon or preference
 1 lb. light brown sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Grease shallow baking dish with cooking oil spray

Cut franks into one-inch pieces

3

Cut bacon strip in half

4

Wrap 1/2 strip bacon around each frank piece and place (bacon end down) in baking dish

Sprinkle light brown sugar evenly over top of all bacon wrapped frank pieces until covered

Bake at 350

Poke toothpick into each frank piece and place on serving platter
