This is a recipe for a Thanksgiving stuffing made with apples and onions. It is a savory stuffing with a sweetness from the apples.
5 tb butter
2 tb lemon juice
1 c onion, diced
¼ ts nutmeg
2 c bread, crumbs
¼ ts allspice
2 ea pippin apples, chopped
1 c almonds, chopped
1 c white wine

In frying pan, melt butter and saute onions until they are clear.

In abowl, combine the bread crumbs with the onion mix.

Add apples and wine.

Return to pan and cook 5 minutes longer.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Stuff into turkey neck and body cavities.
