 1 c Beer
 1 ts Baking powder
 ¼ c Vegetable oil
 1 Egg

Mix flour and baking powder.

Add remaining ingredients and beat untilsmooth.

To fry: Dip chunks of food into batter.

Fry in 3-4 inches of fatat 375 degrees until golden brown.

Drain on paper toweling.

Sprinkle fruitfritters with confectioners sugar or top with a sweet sauce.
