?A brisket is a cut of meat from the breast or lower chest of beef. It is a tough cut of meat, so it is often braised or slow-cooked to make it tender. Brisket is a popular ingredient in many holiday recipes, such as brisket of beef with vegetables, brisket with onions and gravy, and brisket with mashed potatoes.

 7 lb Brisket; trimmed
 2 ts Onion salt
 1 tb Celery salt
 1 ts Garlic salt
 4 ts Msg
 2 tb Worchestire sauce
 1 1/2 tb Liquid smoke

Rub brisket with onion, celery, garlic salt and MSG, let stand for about 30 minutes. Place in a roaster and pour worchestire sauce and liquid smoke over surface of roast. Cover and refrigerate several hours. Drain off marinade, wrap brisket, fatty side up, in heavy duty aluminum foil and seal. Bake 5 hours @ 300. Allow to cool. Slice thinly --> across grain
