There are many recipes for brown sugar glaze, but most include brown sugar, butter, and some type of liquid, such as milk, cream, or syrup. The ingredients are combined and cooked until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
1 c Brown sugar, packed
1 tb Vinegar
½ ts Mustard, dry

Yields 3/4 cup for use on baked ham.
