 6 qt POPPED CORN
 1 ts VANILLA
 2 c BROWN SUGAR
 1 ts SALT
 ½ lb BUTTER
 1 ts BAKING SODA
 ½ c WHITE CORN SYRUP

FILL A LARGE PAN WITH POPPED CORN, 5 TO 6 QUARTS.

USING ANOTHER PAN, COOK BROWN SUGAR, BUTTER AND CORN SYRUP TO BOILING.

BOIL FOR 5 MINUTES.

REMOVE FROM HEAT, ADD VANILLA, SALT AND BAKING SODA.

BLEND WELL, THEN POUR OVER CORN.

MIX TO COVER WELL.

PLACE IN A PREHEATED250 F.

OVEN FOR 40 MINUTES.

STIR OCCASIONALLY FROM THE BOTTOM TO BRINGSYRUP BACK ONTO CORN.

POUR OUT ONTO WAXED PAPER TO COOL.
