Chicken Kebab Recipe

A chicken kebab is a dish consisting of chunks of chicken that are skewered and grilled. The chicken is usually marinated in a mixture of spices and yogurt before being grilled. Chicken kebabs are a popular dish in many Middle Eastern and South Asian countries.

 2 Whole breasts of chicken, cut into 1-in cubes
 1 md Onion, sliced thick
 1 tb Cognac or arak
 ½ ts Pepper
 ½ ts Ground cinnamon
 ¼ ts Ground turmeric
 1 ts Salt

1. Mix everything together

2. Put 4 or 5 cubes of chicken, without onion, on each metal skewers and broil over charcoal for 10 or 15 mins or in a gas or electric broiler. Serve hot w/Afghan bread (Noni Afghan -- see AFGHAN.019), salad,
