There is no one specific recipe for chili. The dish is typically made with beans, tomatoes, and ground beef, and can be spiced with a variety of different chili peppers.

 1 1/2 lb ground beef or chicken
 4 c cooked kidney beans
 2 c water
 1 ea onion, chopped
 1 tb chili powder
 1 ea bunch green onions, sliced
 1 tb curry powder
 1 1/2 c grated mild cheddar cheese
 3 ea tomatoes, diced

In a frying pan, saute meat until lightly browned.

Pour offdrippings.

Add water, chili, and curry powder; simmer 5 minutes.

Addtomatoes and beans; heat through.

Stir in onions.

Ladle into servingbowls and sprinkle on cheese.
