Cold Oven Popovers Recipe

A cold oven popovers recipe is a recipe that calls for the popovers to be baked in a cold oven. This means that the oven is turned on to the desired temperature and then the popovers are placed in the oven to bake. There is no need to preheat the oven when using this method.

 1 c Milk
 1 c Sifted flour
 ½ ts Salt

Grease muffin tin.

In a medium bowl, beat eggs, then add flour, milk andsalt.

Mix until wet, with a spoon.

Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.

PUT IN ACOLD OVEN.

Turn on to heat to 450 degrees.

Allow to bake for 30 minutes.

Do not open oven door!! Turn oven off.

Allow popovers to remain in ovenfor a few minutes longer.
