This recipe is for a creamy potato and ham casserole. It is made with potatoes, ham, cream of chicken soup, and cheddar cheese.

 12 oz Evaporated skimmed milk
 3 lg Baking potatoes, washed
 1 tb Cornstarch
 thin, but not skinned
 ½ ts Salt
 1 sm Onion, chopped
 ¼ ts Pepper
 4 oz Deli ham, thin sliced
 1 ts Oregano
 1 c Grated low-fat swiss cheese-
 ¼ ts Nutmeg
 jarlsberg
 ½ c White wine
 2 tb Grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 deg f.

In a medium saucepan, heat the milk, salt,cornstarch, pepper and nutmeg until milk comes to a boil and the saucethickens.

Remove from heat and set aside.

Coat a 1 1/2 quart casseroledish with nonstick spray.

Layer half the potato slices inthe bottom andsides of the dish.

Cover with cheese, onion, ham and oregano.

Cover withremaining potatoes.

Pour sauce over the top.

bake for 1 hour.

If desired,place casserole under broiler for 5 minutes to brown the top.
