 ½ c Milk; sweet
 ½ ts Salt
 1 ts Baking powder
 1 c Flour
 1 tb Butter; melted - or substit ute

Beat yolks of eggs, add milk, salt, flour and baking powder mixed together and shortening. Add stiffly beaten whites of eggs and bake on waffle iron unto crips and brown
