 ½ ea Bread, day old
 ½ c Butter
 3 ea Egg, well beaten
 ½ c Milk
 1 x Salt

Cut bread into cubes and brown in butter which has been melted.

Beat theeggs well and add the milk and salt and pepper to taste.

Pour over breadand fry until brown.

Serve at once.
