French onion soup is a soup made with onions and beef broth, often with croutons or cheese on top.

Toast and cube the french bread.
Saute onions and garlic in butter untilonions are clear.
Add bouillon cube and soy sauce.
Simmer 15-20 minutes,or let sit overnight for flavors to blend; or freeze.
Next, add water andlet simmer another 15 minutes.
Ladle into bowls, sprinkle with toastcubes, and Parmesan cheese.
