Fresh Mushroom Soup Recipe

This is a recipe for a creamy soup made with fresh mushrooms. It is perfect for a winter day or as a starter for a special dinner.

 2 tb butter
 1 tb arrowroot powder
 ½ lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
 2 c skim milk
 ½ c finely chopped onion
 1 ea cube bouillon
 ½ ts vegetable seasoning

In sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat.

Add mushrooms.

Cook about 5 minutes.

Combine arrowroot in about1/4 of the milk; add to mushroom mixture.

Add bouillon cube and remainingmilk.

Simmer, stirring constantly, until soup is hot and thickensslightly.
