Granola Recipe

A granola recipe is a blend of rolled oats, nuts, and dried fruit that is baked until crisp. It is often eaten as a breakfast cereal or as a topping for yogurt or ice cream.

 5 c oats
 ¼ c dry powdered milk
 1 c almonds
 ½ ts nutmeg
 1 c sesame seeds
 1 c sunflower oil
 1 c wheat germ
 1 c honey
 1 c cashews
 1 tb vanilla
 1 c walnuts
 1 c shredded coconut (opt.)

Mix together grains, nuts and seeds.

Stir in dry milk and nutmeg.

Meltoil and honey together.

Add vanilla and pour over dry ingredients, mixingthoroughly.

Add coconut if desired.

Spread mixture evenly in oiledshallow baking pans or cookie sheets.

Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
