A honeymoon sourdough is a type of bread that is made with a sourdough starter. This starter is made from a combination of flour, water, and yeast. The starter is then used to leaven the bread dough, which gives the bread its distinctive sour flavor.

 1 c Active Starter
 ½ ts Baking Powder
 1 1/4 c Prepared Biscuit Mix
 1 tb Cooking Oil

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and turn out onto a floured board, kneadlightly and then roll out gently and cut into biscuits.

Brush lightlywith melted butter or margarine.

Place of greased cookie sheet and bake at450 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Makes 9 Large biscuits.
