Mexican Coffee Liqueur Cookies Recipe are traditional Mexican cookies that are made with coffee liqueur. These cookies are typically made during the Christmas season and are often given as gifts.

 ½ c butter
 2 c white unbleached flour
 ½ c cream
 1 ts baking soda
  c maple syrup
 ½ c oats
 ½ c Kahlua or other coffee lique
 ½ c nuts
 1 ts vanilla
 1 1/2 c mint carob chips
 1 ea egg

Cream together butter, cream, maple syrup, coffee liqueur and vanilla.

Stir in egg.

Add flour in three additions,making sure each additionis thoroughly mixed.

Add baking soda and oats.

By hand, stir in nutsand mint chips.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on an unoiled cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees 10-12 minutes.

Cookies will be golden brown.
