Mexican Rice (3) Recipe

Mexican rice is a dish that is typically made with white rice, tomatoes, onions, and garlic. It is often seasoned with chili powder, cumin, and other spices.

 1 tb Butter
 ½ ts Black pepper
 ½ ts Chili powder
  c Converted rice
 ½ ts Paprika
 1 1/3 c Water
 ½ ts Salt

In a saucepan, melt butter, Add spices.

Stir in rice and water.

Bring to aboil.

Reduce heat to low, simmer, covered for 10 minutes.

Remove from heatand let stand for 5 minutes.

Makes 2 cups.
