1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and sugar.3. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.4. Stir in ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until dough comes together.5. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 1/8-inch thickness.6. Fit dough into a 9-inch pie plate. Trim excess dough, and crimp edges.7. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and let cool on a wire rack.
MIX THE FLOUR, SHORTENING, SUGAR AND SALT WITH A FORK.
IN A SMALL BOWL MIXTHE VINEGAR, EGG AND WATER.
ADD TO THE FLOUR MIXTURE WITH A FORK UNTILMOISTENED.
MOLD INTO A BALL AND CHILL.
ALLOW TO CHILL FOR AT LEAST 15MINUTES BEFORE USING AND KEEP REMAINING IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR UP TO 2WEEKS.
