 8 ea pork chops 3/4 thick
 1 ea salt and pepper to taste
 ¾ c rice
 2 c tomato juice
  c chopped green pepper
 ¾ c water
 ½ c chopped onion
 ¼ ts chili powder

Brown pork chops in a little oil in a skillet.

Sprinkle rice in the bottomof a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish.

Scatter green pepper and onion overthe rice.

Top with pork chops.

Add salt and pepper.

Pour tomato juice andwater into drippings in skillet.
