 1 ea egg, beaten
 4 ea slices bacon
 2 tb (heaping) sour cream
 ½ ea onion, chopped

 1 c milk, boiled

Put potatoes into colander and press out juices.

Cook bacon and keep thefat.

(Vegetarians omit meat.

) Combine potatoes, bacon, onion and hotbacon fat, and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Pour milk over top.

Pour on egg and sour cream.
