Potato Puffs are a type of potato-based pastry that is popular in many parts of the world. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.
In anotherbowl combine eggs and potatoes, then beat in dry ingredients to make astiff dough.
Add more flour as needed to avoid stickyness.
Roll dough outon a floured surface to about 1/2 thick.
With a knife or cookie cutter,cut into shapes.
Fry in deep fat for 2 - 3 minutes or until puffs rise tothe top at 365 deg f.
Drain on paper toweling.
Sprinkle with confectionerssugar and serve as a dessert.
