Raisin-cinnamon doughnuts are a type of fried doughnut that is typically coated in a sugar and cinnamon mixture and contains raisins.

Sift togther all dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening with pastry cutteror two knives.
Mixture should look like small bowls.
Stir in milk andraisins.
Turn onto lightly floured board.
Roll out to 1/2Cut into rounds with floured doughnut cutter.
Arrange doughnuts on cookie sheets.
Brush with melted butter.
Bake 12minutes in a 425F oven.
Brush again with melted butter.
Combine 1/4 c sugar and 2 t cinnamonto make cinnamon sugar.
