Rutabaga Pudding (Irish) Recipe

 1 lb Rutabagas
 1 ts Salt
 3 tb Fine breadcrumbs
 1 ts Sugar
 3 tb Milk
 1 x Lg. egg, well beaten
 2 ts Melted butter

Clean, peel and cube the rutabaga, and cook in boiling water until tender,then drain.

Mash thoroughly;then add all the other ingredients.

Putinto a 2-qt casserole and bake at 350F for 1 hour.

A pinch of cinnamon orginger might be added.
