Sausage sandwiches are a quick and easy meal that can be made with any type of sausage. Typically, sausage sandwiches are made with a link sausage, such as a hot dog or bratwurst, but they can also be made with ground sausage. The sausage is cooked and then placed on a bun, along with condiments such as mustard, ketchup, or mayonnaise.

 ½ lb Bulk Italian Sausage
 ¼ ts Dried Oregano, Crushed
 2 tb Chopped Onion
 2 ea Single French Rolls, Split
 ¼ c Catsup
 2 ea Slices Mozzarella Cheese

Crumble the Italian sausage into a 1-quart casserole.

Stir in the choppedonion.

Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes ortill sausage is done, stirring once.

Pour off fat.

Stir in catsup andoregano.

Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes ortill sausage mixture is heated through.

Place roll bottoms on a papertowel-lined plate.
