1 cn (8 oz) tomato sauce

1 ea egg, slightly beaten

¼ c brown sugar

¼ c onion minced

¼ c vinegar

¼ c crushed crackers

1 ts mustard

1 ts salt

2 lb ground beef

¼ ts pepper

1 c sliced mushrooms

Combine first 4 ingredients to make sauce.

Combine remaining ingredients,kneading together with hands.

Add 1/2 tomato sauce mixture.

Put in loafpan.

Pour remaining sauce over loaf.

Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
