Tipsy cake is a traditional Irish cake that is often served at weddings and other special occasions. It is made with a variety of different alcoholic beverages, including Guinness, whiskey, and Bailey's Irish Cream. Break up the cake or cakes and gently mix the jam through the mixturedoes not have to be completely even.
Place in a glass bowl.
Mix sherryand whisky and sprinkle over cake.
Press down lightly.
Pour custard overthe cake, and chill.
Then spoon whipped cream over top and serve.
