There are many recipes for wacky cake, but they all generally include a combination of flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and vinegar. Some recipes also include eggs, but this is not necessary. The cake is usually moist and chocolatey, and can be served with frosting or without.
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt.
Make three wells in the flourmixture.
In one put vanilla; in another the vinegar, and in the third theoil.
Pour 1 c cold water over all and stir.
No need to beat.
Pour into8 x 8-inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F oven until it springs back.
