1/2 cup butter1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup peanut butter1 egg1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/4 teaspoon salt1 1/4 cups all-purpose flourIn a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in peanut butter. Add egg, baking soda and salt; mix well. Gradually add flour to creamed mixture, mixing well.Roll dough into 1-in. balls. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Press each with a fork twice in a cross pattern.Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on pans for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

PARAFFIN12 oz SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE BITS CREAM PEANUT BUTTER FOR THREE MINUTES.
ADD BUTTER AND SUGAR.
MIX WELL.
SHAVE THE PARAFFIN AND HEAT CHOCOLATE BITS AND PARAFFIN IN DOUBLE BOILER.
MIX WELL.
ROLL PEANUT BUTTER MIXTURE IN SMALL BALLS.
DIP EACH BALL INCHOCOLATE ABOUT 2/3 DEEP.
PLACE ON WAXED PAPER TO DRY.
