tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped,:: 1/2 c(or more!) thinlysliced or diced canned California green, chiles (seeds and veins removed)or fresh chiles, peeled and gutted,:: 1/3 cminced onion,:: 1 ts salt::minced canned jalapeno chiles to taste, or other chiles that you like.

About 1 jalapeno per cup of sauce will be fairly hot.
